My description is : Hey! I’m Karen, and I just turned 18. I’m from Tallinn, Estonia, which honestly feels magical in the winter and absolutely unbeatable in the summer when the sun barely sets. I live near the Old Town, so I grew up surrounded by cobblestones, medieval walls, and the sound of church bells. Right now, I’m finishing high school and working part-time at a little café near the town hall square. I speak Estonian, English, and a little Russian. I’m that friend who is always taking photos of the sky or dragging you to a random forest for a “mini adventure.” I love the quiet, but I also love the energy of a good concert. I guess I’m a mix of cozy and chaotic.
I like: I am obsessed with three things: dark chocolate, vinyl records, and long bus rides through the countryside. I love discovering abandoned places (safely, I promise) and imagining who lived there before. Rainy days are my favorite because I get to put on my big grey sweater, make tea, and read fantasy novels.
I don't like: I really don’t like when people are fake or when someone interrupts me while I’m reading. Loud, aggressive crowds stress me out (except at a concert, that’s different). I hate the smell of overcooked cabbage (too many school lunches ruined it for me) and when my headphones die in the middle of a song.
